This workshop will go in depth discussing the most toxic form of family law dispute: contested
custody matters involving Parental Alienation. These cases wreak havoc on targeted mothers and fathers,
but most of all, innocent children who are caught in the crossfire. Jackie will discuss the "red flags" in these cases
and what legal and therapeutic strategies deliver the best outcomes.

Jacqueline Harounian, Esq., a Partner of the Law Firm
of Wisselman Harounian Family Law, established in 1976, is a

She was chosen to the Super Lawyers list for seven consecutive years,

Implications of Religious Divorce", “Fertility Law” and “Intellectual
Property in Divorce Matters” have been published and presented at
national and state level conventions including AFCC 2020 and the

Ms. Harounian has a long history of public service, including pro bono
work for The Safe Center. She has raised awareness and funds for a
range of social and legal causes on Long Island. In 2018, she was
recognized as a UJA Humanitarian of the Year. She served as an
Instructor of Family Law at Hofstra Law School for over ten years, and
lectures regularly to attorneys, judges, mental health professionals,
