Webinar Instructions

Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) this workshop is only being offered as a live webinar. 

Please see information and requirements:


•Webinar link will be sent 24-48 hours in advanced to the email you registered with

•New York State allows an unlimited amount of CEs from live webinars at this time.

•This Webinar is only available at the scheduled time. It will not be recorded.

•Group discussion via the chat box is facilitated by the instructor and allows for much engagement. During the presentation only, participant videos and mics will be turned off in order to avoid distraction from the speaker video and slides.

•Each attendee is required to purchase an individual or group registration ticket regardless if receiving CE or not.

•If you are not familiar with the zoom platform then please email [email protected] to receive tutorial links and information. You are responsible for ensuring your setup although there are tools available to support you.

•It is recommended to use a computer or laptop computer to participate in this workshop. Zoom does have a mobile app that can be used as well.

Cancellation Policy

If you contact us before 4/15/22, you may exchange your tuition for a certificate to attend a future seminar or a tuition refund. If you contact us 4/16/22 to 5/6/22, you may only exchange your tuition for a certificate to attend a future seminar. If you contact us 5/7/22 or after, the tuition fee is forfeited.


Occasionally, changes are made due to speaker availability, participant demand or unforeseen circumstances. While CSLI will do everything possible to ensure participant satisfaction, CSLI's liability is limited to the tuition fee only.


Notification of Seminar Cancellation

We will make every best effort to hold our seminars on bad-weather days for anyone who can make it. If we learn that a seminar must be cancelled, we will make every effort to

contact you.


We update our after-hours voicemail greeting with any weather-related seminar changes. If bad weather threatens, please call our office before you depart. If we are aware of bad weather in the area, CSLI will extend the seminar refund deadline to include the morning of the program.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Certificates Information

Counseling Services of LI is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board 

as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers (#SW-547), licensed 

mental health counselors (#MHC-0180), and licensed marriage and family therapists (#MFT-0088), 

licensed psychologists (#PSY-0044).


New York State Office of the Professions (NYSED) regulations require that participants must be present for the entire approved educational activity in order to receive a certificate for continuing education credits. There is no accommodation in the state regulations for late arrival, late return from lunch or breaks, or early departure.  

There is a 10 minute grace period. Any participant who arrives past 10:10 AM OR leaves earlier than 3:50 PM will not receive CE credits.  

Refunds are not provided for late arrivals or early departures. Please plan accordingly.


CSLI Staff will verify Online attendance through 4 attendance checks- 10 minutes after the scheduled start, 10 minutes prior to the scheduled end, random check during the first half, and random check during the last half.


Evaluation: An email with the evaluation link will be sent to the email you registered with within 1 hour of the workshop ending. If you do not see an email within 1 hours of the workshop ending, then email [email protected]


Certificates will be emailed within 2 weeks of the workshop

 for anyone who has met the CE attendance requirement and 

completed the evaluation.
